Take 10 Minutes To Yourself Everyday

Here at Wellness by Manuel, we believe that everyone should be able to take time for themselves every day. After all, you do have 1,140 minutes in each day, so why not take 10 of them for yourself?

Self-care and putting yourself first doesn’t have to be a time-consuming activity. In fact, many activities can be incorporated into your daily routine. You can even enhance your self-care experience by simply lighting one of our candles and surrounding yourself with their soothing aromas. 

If you have a busy day ahead, take five minutes in bed each morning to focus your attention on your breathing. Place one hand on your stomach and take a couple of deep breaths. Notice how your stomach rises and falls with each breath and appreciate all your body does for you. There’s no rule saying that you have to jump out of bed each morning, so be kind to yourself and take it slow. Spending just a couple of minutes doing this each morning promotes feelings of tranquility and allows you to steady your thoughts. Practicing gratitude is the perfect way to wind-down at the end of each day. To do this, either state aloud or write down five things you are grateful for today. By reflecting on what you’re grateful for each day, you’re able to manifest positivity into your life thus taking care of yourself.
